v2.0.0: the multi league update

Version 2.0.0 is the multi league update: three countries, nine divisions, some 450 teams. It is the foundation for everything that followed.

What the jump meant

Until then the game knew exactly one division. Promotion out of the second was an ending, not a transition. With 2.0.0 there is a structure underneath: divisions above and below your own, promotion and relegation in both directions, a cup running through every tier, and clubs that have a history even without the player.

Why this was more than doing the same thing three times

Simulating a season for 450 teams is not three times the work of one league, it is a different task. Every matchday has to run through in a bearable time on a phone, transfers between all divisions have to stay plausible, and the tables have to add up against each other.

What it made possible

Without that foundation there could have been neither six countries in v2.0.5 nor the country editor in v2.1.0.
