From v1.4 to v1.7: the road to the big update

Between version 1.4 and 1.7 there are four interim releases. None of them deserves a headline. Together they are the preparation for the big update.

What happened in those weeks

Fixes from reported cases, balance work, and cleanup in places that would have stood in the way of the multi league rebuild. Along with adjustments to training and transfer values that had been too strong or too weak.

Why versions like these matter

A big update on a messy foundation costs more afterwards than the cleanup would have cost beforehand. In hindsight the four versions look like standing still. Without them, v2.0.0 would have taken considerably longer.
