From v1.4 to v1.7: laying the ground for the big update

January 2026. Laying the foundations:

Before the multi-league update could land, the base had to be right.

The important fixes:

✅ Conference League (v1.4.5): the winner was displayed wrongly
✅ Sponsor crash (v1.7.3): a critical crash fixed, with an in-app purchase wrapper
✅ Purchase persistence (v1.7.5): purchases are stored reliably

New:

✅ Balance (v1.7.2): a wide set of adjustments
✅ Major clean-up (v1.7.0): a big pass over the code plus financial balance
✅ Help buttons (v1.7.7): better onboarding for new players

Ten commits. A solid base for v2.0.0.
