Note

The beginning

May 2025. No programming experience, one reason: the management games of my youth no longer run on today's devices.

What started it

Anyone who wants to launch an old football manager today needs an emulator, a matching configuration and patience. And even then, what belonged to it back then is missing: a leaderboard to play against, and a game you pick up again in the evening on the sofa.

The obvious answer would have been to switch to one of the big current managers. But they do something else. They model more and demand more attention in return.

What came of it

The first attempt became Anpfiff1, now on Android, iOS, Steam and in the browser, with an editor for your own countries. Alongside it stand several small apps that follow the same rule: no ads, no tracking.

What gets documented here

The Dev Log records the road, detours included. The news collects what has been released. Anyone who wants to start themselves will find what had to be learned here in the Solo-Dev Guide.
