1.0.8 in production: a new look and a bug R8 introduced

As of today version 23 is in production on Google Play, after six builds in three days.

What it means for old vaults

The release build had stored the key parameters with obfuscated names (a, b). As soon as a change made one of those values variable, unlocking failed. Now an adapter writes fixed names and keeps reading the old format. Vaults from earlier versions open again after the update.

What you can see

Navy and gold, an overview with tiles and a bottom bar, “Manage” for protection and settings, an eye button for thumbnails, and a tree with golden fruit on the login screen. New vaults derive the key with 600,000 instead of 210,000 rounds, so unlocking can take a few seconds on older phones.
