World Cup Edition: pre-registration is open on Google Play

The Anpfiff1 Retro World Cup Edition is now open for pre-registration on Google Play. Sign up and you get a notice when the game launches, and it downloads automatically.

There is no release date yet. Pre-registration is not a purchase and costs nothing.

What it is

The World Cup Edition is the tournament edition of the retro football manager. No club, no transfer haggling, just the big tournament:

• 48 nations in 12 groups, knockout rounds from the round of 32 to the final
• Two routes to the title: straight into the finals or through qualifying first
• Random draw from 160 nations, every tournament different
• Opponent scouting, training camps, form and home advantage
• Database editor for your own teams and players
• Free, no ads, in 48 languages

It runs on the same engine as Anpfiff1, which has been live since 2025 and is now at version 2.1.4.
