Steam review: “without the complexity bloat of larger titles”
There is an English review on Steam that captures the point of the game in one sentence. Gingy writes:
A charming retro-styled football management sim that turns strategic decision-making into its own rewarding sport, without the complexity bloat of larger titles.
Why that sentence helps
It describes exactly the intention behind Anpfiff1. Today's big managers model more and more, and become harder and harder to keep track of. Anpfiff1 goes the other way: fewer sliders, but decisions whose consequences you meet again next season.
When somebody from outside describes that same intention without having read it anywhere, it is the best feedback there is.
